LoXX, the remote control for your door
Posted: Fri Jul 17, 2009 3:54 pm
With some help I have installed the Loxx including the domotica interface.
First impression
- Locks good and solid
- easy to install
- Domotica interface
Loxx can replace your current cilinder
It will add remote control possibilities.
What is done:
- Loxx Installation
- Domotica interface connected to IPpower and Visonic
- Remote Wall switch installation (can open /close the door with one click)
Next steps
- Bluetooth interface (When in range with phone it will automatically open the door)
- Maybe Rfid Tag
Loxx can operate in two different modes Day and Night
Different is the extra lock in night mode.
In the Night mode when the door is closed it will always lock it.
In the day mode this will not happen.
You can still lock the door by pressing the keyfob for 3 seconds.
Mode change can be done by pressing the keyfob for 6 seconds.
Short press will always open the door.
In the domotica interface this functions are also available but difficult to implement because of the toggle option You will never know the mode when the door is closed.
I have already done a request to change this.
Personal I dont need any mode change.
what I need are different I/O contact points for all the available functions
Open the Door
Lock the Door
Day Mode
Night Mode
There is a extra sensor what will tell the Loxx not to lock it when the door is open (last picture black one)
