Ethernet conectivity

I saw in the wishlist post a request for Ethernet connectivity. I use here the Belkin Network USB hub that allows 4 USB devices to be attached to your PC(s) via Ethernet - and I can report that it works well with the Source software and the Plugwise USB device. It has allowed me to remotely site my USB device where RF coverage is more suitable for the Circle +.
What it might complicate however is intercepting the actual serial data being transferred - if you're using that for an automation application. Webserver/XML based connectivity is still as normal of course eg the HomeSeer plugin.

[edit] Double checked and it doesn't break the monitoring of the serial traffic with say serial port monitor . Does anyone know of a Windows 'intercept' application that allows you to both snoop serial traffic and inject messages from your own 'external' application ? If it can intercept and programatically remove existing exchange traffic bidirectionally even better.
