I have a module that has a printed F-antenna (IFA) on the PCB.
With this module i can control my Philips Living Colors LED lamp via Homeseer. However i come just a few yards of range short to where i want to have the lamp.

Is there a way to add a better antenna to this or can the signal be boosted? I believe that it is in the same range as zigbee but i can be wrong

hi, can you post a picture?

On the internet there are a lot of selfmade antenna's..
Just need to find out on witch freq. it's transmitting..

For my wireless modem, wich had a poor signal, i made an extension.

Hi Ewald,
Thanks for your reply.
I already connected a piece of wire to the printed antenna on the circuitboard. That gave me a much better signal
