XBee I/O line passing

I recently read about another very cool feature of the XBee modules, called I/O line passing.
2 (or more?) XBee modules can act as an invisible, virtual wire: you can set Digital/Analog Output pins on XBee #1 to 'mirror' the Digital/Analog Input pin values from the XBee #2. Without any additional hardware...
A wireless light switch based on XBee, that would be really cool...
