Starting - Which modules to get?

I'm waiting to receive my RFX power meter (will be my 1st step - logging power usage).

Meanwhile, I'm also considering which modules should I get to "try" X10/A10.

So far my list is:

. CM11 (no questions about this one! :)

For RF I have considered these:

. A remote control capable of sending all the house/device codes
http://www.centralcasa.com/zoom.asp?REF=PR9036
(from what I understand, the other remotes work only on a single house code, and changing it is complicated)
. the RF receiver (from what I read, it can receive all house codes, if programmed to do so)
http://www.centralcasa.com/zoom.asp?REF=PR2062

My issue about having all house codes, is because the first configuration of the modules.
But maybe it is simple to do it via CM11 and some software, then I could get with a cheaper remote - This is exactly why I'm asking for your opinions. :)

They also have the "encrypted" version of these - should I opt for the standard or encrypted version?

Then, for testing, I thought about these:

. A "shutter" module for my window shutters: http://www.centralcasa.com/zoom.asp?REF=PR5560
(this is what I need the most for now, so I don't have to keep pressing the buttons every night to close down all windows, and open it in the morning. I had planned for it since the beginning, when I got the motorized shutters)

. A marmitek LW12
. A xanura DAIX10 (at nearly 3x the price of the LW12 want to see if it is really worth the extra price)

Besides that, do you have any suggestions?
Should I order some filters to put in the outlets where I have PCs, fridge, UPS's, etc?

Every suggestion/comment is appreciated.
Thanks
