Ok i'm in energy saving mode at the moment and thought of all those little energy wasting transformers in my house. So i was thinking as i'm about to emabrk on producing my own green electricity what would be the best way if i have say a bank of 12 volt batterys been charged from solar to make some sort of stabalizer for low votlage items like 5 volt 12 volt rail etc , and would this be more energy efficient than using a transformer for all my devices ?
