Replacement for X10

Hi,

In my previous house I used X10 everywhere. It worked 'some what', but had problems with lights going on/off without reason. I will spare the details, but i am 100% sure no one near me was using X10 modules. In my new house I cant get X10 to work over long distances. In my Homeseer (in the attic) system I see X10 commands when I turn off my light in my living room, but if I send an X10 command from HomeSeer to the lights in my living room nothing happends. Besides that, my girlfriend didn't like the system because it was unreliable.

So, basicly I'm looking for an X10 replacement that works. That does not go on/off without any obvious reason and that works over greater distances. I need support in HomeSeer and my ADICON Ocelot controller. Also, I need in wall modules. So Z-Wave (as far as I can tell) is a no-go.

What system do you recommend?
