Connecting Windows Mobile to server

Hey all,

Before perhaps reinventing the wheel, I figured it would be best to ask here.

My idea is this: I have an old PDA here (MDA Pro, WM6) which I want to connect to my server for the following:

1) Send me an sms on certain events
2) Being able to recieve sms or calls which should trigger events.

Does anyone know of a program that can do this?

Regards,
LostDreamer

If you have GPRS (or any other type of internet connection) you can write an applition who sends messages to your phone.
Or better: you server runs a webservice so your phone can pick up messages. And any other internet connected device also.

If you want your server to send sms, you need a) a sms service online, probably payed b) a mobile/sms device connected to your server.

You can connect the phone trough Bluetooth and send AT commands.

I thought I read somewhere that all WM devices didnt respond to AT commands?
