IR trans

Can we make a special section for IR trans. There are quite some users on this forum and I have a software question on this hardware so I'm totally lost where to ask the question: Homeseer section (IR trans plugin), Hardware section (IR trans=hardware), or Software section (IR trans software). [?][?][?][?]
