Hi guys i'm totally new to this so please excuse my lack of knowledge. I just recieved my RXFCom reciever and thought i would try out the demo of homeseer , but it doesn't seem to see the reciever , all i'm doing is recieving data from my electri save device for the moment but will expand later lol.

What i would like to do eventually is have the captured data go into a mysql database so i could see overall usage etc. The programs that come with the RFXCOM work fine and i can see data but nothing in homeseer.

I suppose you use the ACRF plug-in? This plugin doesn't support the Electrisave.

If you define the receiver as RFXCOM receiver and no other program is using the COM port then the receiver will be found by Homeseer.

Use 4800bd so don't change the baudrate which was set at 4800bd at delivery.
