Changed my entry as I saw your previous post.

I can't tell you why HomeSeer doesn't work with your Merten equipment.
I'm not so familiar with HomeSeer but I think that it is possible to make custom plug-ins, so in theory you could add the missing support (if that is the case).
The code shown in the articles will get you started but please notice that it is far from a full implementation.
