Hi Carlo,

Some while ago I did make some custom made boxes for a DMX - LEDstrip system by a customer.
An really good help for me was http://www.laserit.nl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , the can made holes etc within a laser system into the boxes.

It was not so expansive , as sure you can draw a CAD picture :-)

just my 2 cents

Thanks Marco,
Even though the smaller prototype-series will be hand-made, eventually this can save me a lot of drill time!
(And the cases will look more professional, I guess... )

Yesterday Robert (Digit) and I had a very useful discussion at my place, where we agreed about the serial communication protocol.
Robert will make the HomeSeer plug-in to communicate with the RF-ID base-station. (Thanks again, Robert!)
The protocol is going to be open and publicly available, so if desired, you can also integrate the device in your own home automation system.
We expect that the price of a standard base-station will be somewhere between 40 and 45 Euro.

Lats wait for the first samples end of January.
Product is in development end this need some time.
The software and hardware need to be optimized in the first weeks.

For sure there will be lot of additional products available later.

Patience is a good thing in this case. Carlo is putting a lot of time and energy in this, so let's just wait and let Carlo do his job; it ain't finished till it's finished :D
