Marmitek 2010 'what a year' Press release

Post by Bwired »

Dear editors, writers and other press contacts,

we are already at the end of 2009 and are happy to report that it has been a very successful year for Marmitek. The part that you have played in this is not to be underestimated and that is why I would like to sincerely thank you all for the many fantastic editorial articles that I have received by post and digitally over the past year.

We would like to look back on 2009 as a year in which Marmitek:
- was the first in Europe to introduce Wireless HDMI, thus steaming ahead of the large market players
- gave more importance to the complete Multi Media category within a total concept of A/V accessories
- made professional video provision on CAT5 cabling accessible for the consumer, in terms of price as well as ease of installation
- gave listening to music a totally new dimension with wireless speakers for inside and outside the home
- ensured that the use of IP cameras is no longer limited to inside the house
- took over XanuraHome with the result that (in our humble opinion) we are the X-10 Home Automation organisation that cannot be ignored
- gave X-10 Home Automation an enormous WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) as a result of the addition of 2 fancy controllers.

There are several special product introductions planned for 2010 and I will be sure to keep you updated about these via e-mail.
In addition, our website will be renewed. This will allow the press site to be even more effectively organised, with all press releases being placed on one page with the corresponding HR photos. We will also be paying greater attention to your publications on our new site.

I hope that Marmitek’s press releases will be received with as much enthusiasm in 2010 as they have been in the past year!
We wish you the very best of luck and hope that you have a prosperous and innovative new year!

Best Regards

Melanie Jeuken

Peter. I guess that it helps to have a "domotica" forum :-)
I'll make sure that next time when I have a broken Xanura (RIP) module I will send it to you.

I'm slowly replacing all my Xanura products becaus of my experience with Marmishite.

Mmmm so different in opinion: I love zwave for its response times and accuracy. Non of my switches have ever lost one request to change state. X10/A10 was trouble. Can't accept that plugging a appliance in a socket could stop X10/A10 from working. So my opinion is that Marmitek bought a near dead technology. So why switching back. And if so, send me a PM when you will... :D

yes true...about the response.
for lot of devices is that not a problem like blinds.

there is still no good alternative from the zwave front for lot of products.
