Guruplug Server

Post by j.hoekstra »

Hey,

I'm thinking of getting a dedicated piece of hardware to power my domotigaserver, right now I use my homeserver to use the software. I'd ideally like an appliance like device like the guruplug.
I wonder however if the guruplug server plus would cut it with just 2 USB-ports.

Does anyone have experience with USB-adapters connect via an USB-hub to the host? Stuff like plugwise, USB2Serial SMS-modem and maybe a Z-Wavestick will be connected.

I got the guruplug server plus, haven't gotten aroud to installing gambas on it completely because of limit in diskspace. When you install to SD card you should be good to go, hopefully you can get a recent version from the repos, I'd start with debian squeeze, which seems to run fine @ this plug.
