NAS mapping

Hi,
Is there a way to connecting a NAS to a Windows XP machine without using the following options
- MKlink
- Net use
- Default Network mapping (in the explorer)
- Subst
Because i have a program that can not see any way of network drivers, but i whant to use in this programm my NAS network drive.

I believe there are a ton of tools that you can make a connection as a normal drive mapping with a ftp site. Since your nas is bound to have ftp too.. maybe you can try that.

You can use iSCSI if there is support for it on your NAS.
Windows XP iSCSI drivers are for free, you can download them from MS website.
Windows XP and all the other software will see the new drive as local drive.

Thanks for the tips.
I have first try the iSCSI sollution, but the NAS can work only with 1 user at the same time on the same drive, so this is not the right way i whan't.
So i have look at the FTP, and i find a free software tool "NetDrive" to connect a FTP adres to a local driver so the backup software can now see the NAS.
