Hi,

I got a question about this

http://www.elekhomica.nl/product_info.p ... cts_id=688

I want to extend my stuff (1-wire an lacrosse ws2305) at home with X10. The main thing is that it must run on linux, an I think that de cm11 of marmitek will work???

I think it is standard serial, with an usbto serial extra??

kind regards

Richard

Cm11 works fine with linux (check out Heyu for instance) or xpl-perl package.

ctx35 (xanura) is also supported under linux via xpl-perl package, although cm11 has a longer code development (more stable) i'am trying to make sure ctx35 perl package will work fine, but i only rarely have errors so i cant always fix it.

Both devices can either work with usb or serial. Ctx has standard serial, and cm11 has optionel serial or usb (if my memory is correct)

Check the heyu faq: http://heyu.tanj.com/heyu_faq.html

In any case, I'm working with the CM11 over serial and this works fine with xpl-perl (which uses heyu), heyu and misterhouse on Linux.
