Soon I would like to buy some DMX Drivers via Alibaba alibaba.com/product-gs/213641800/DMX_dr ... 24500.html

I bought some units before through alibaba but I need some more (15). Does anybodyhave interest in buying some of the units as well? I already have an order from Akatar for 5 units. anybody else interested?

The DMX drivers will be connected to my lanbox

For those who are interested in the kind of stuff I use it for: See my Kitchen Countertop Vids

This DMX encoder CAN NOT be used for LED strips as it design for Powerleds. :?

Be aware of it ,the risk of fire is very large.
Please use products where the are for designed

just my 2 cents

Hi Marco,

As far as I am aware these things (DMX Driver) are made for LED strips (SMD). I currently use them for my LED strips RGB and Warm White strips. They are also sold on ledtuning.nl as LED strip DMX drivers (Same model).

Regards, Hary

Hi Harry,

It won't matter for me , but this decoder is specially designed for high power leds and not for ledstrips
In case of fire you're insurance will not pay , because of wrong usage and there is nobody liable because the imported by you're self

see product documentation , on the first page it will directly notice high power and the technical drawings are also describe high power leds

Just as I said before.
my 2 cents.

@Bwired: Thanks... Saw this setup at Villa Arena once. Couldn't afford the kitchen, but with some DIY work I replicated the results

@Marco: Thanks for your input! Don't see any issues in the documentation. Also in regards to the "High Power" Part.
Friend of a colleague is an electrical engineer who works for a domotica company installing KNX and lighting systems. He uses similar DMX Drivers for LED Strip in cove lighting.

5A per channel should be enough for the kitchen :)
