Hello,

I am currently configuring my Domotiga installation and am intereted in power metering.
I already have an rfxcom 3 fase sollution to monitor the totals en want to monitor seperate devices.

I am considering of buying the plugwise sollution (20% discount from www.veh.nl vereniging eigen huis).
Is there a raison why this is not the best choice.
(I already read the privacy issue :-( )

Is Domotiga for example currently fully supporting the new modules (firmware) and are the graphs's working ?

Thankz in advance,
Mister_e007.

If you only would use plugwise to measure the power usage, than plugwise is okay.
If you also would like to use the on/off switch functionality, you'd have to think about more: There is no local switching on the plugs. So when you set the plug off with software, you've to set it on with software.

I've no experience with Domotiga and can't answer other questions related to this.

Thankz for the reply.
I bought myself a plugwise kit ( 9 plugs) just for metering (with the 20 percent discount from veh ).

The local switching is something not to forget.

greetz.

DomotiGa support both the old and new firmware, just select the correct one in the Plugwise settings, you can switch modules, and measure current usage, reading the history usage tables from the plug is not implemented yet.
Easy to do, but first we have to implement a way to store all this info.
