Receive other 868 signals with rfxcom?

Post by korsteed »

Hi,

I have a rfx-com receiver for Visionic 868.95MHz signals and I am trying to receive the Wattcher 868 RF-signal ( http://www.wattcher.nl ).
I have build my own software (in Java) and I can see a lot of different signals.
I see KAKU, Visionic, Oregon and Powercode signals, but no signal from Wattcher.

I see in the specification that the rfxcom Visionic receiver works for 868.95MHz and Wattcher works on 868.4 mHz.

I am new to Rfxcom, so I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if it just does not work.
I noticed that the frequency is not exactly the same and I don't know if the rfx-com can receive other signals then the Visonic on the 868 frequency.

So my question is: Is there something I can do to make the rfx-com receiver receive other signals on the 868 frequency,
or should I forget about this and just buy a RFXMeter pulse counter (and receive them on the 433.92MHz frequency).

The 868.95 receiver is able to receive Visonic sensors at exactly 868.95MHz and no other sensors.

Thank you. That's what I suspected, as I could see no signal at all.
