is it an idea to not show the menus when you don't have anything enabled for that menu?

Currently, all the menu's are enabled by default. How about we enable the menu if the module gets enabled in the setup, and perhaps also disable it when the module gets disabled in the setup?

Like, I have the Phone menu item, but I don't have anything usefull in there.

It's easy to add I guess, I do this with the leds on the main form too, but users don't see the possibilities when then just installed the program.

And you can always disable menu's icons your self via edit menus, visible is False.

hmmm... true..

how about we only disable the menu if the interface gets disabled?? that way new users get all menu items by default, but they still get removed automatically.
