Charts, charts & charts..

Post by Snelvuur »

So,

What chart programs do you use, or find usefull?

I've been using chartdirector which is nice, but the following pages have a lot of tools and ajax or php powered graphs too. (and we are looking at all the free ones)

http://www.fusioncharts.com/free/Galler ... d=3#tr_6_1
http://applestooranges.com/blog/post/cs ... phs/?id=55
http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menu/barchart.html
http://www.standards-schmandards.com/exhibits/barchart/
http://www.maani.us/xml_charts/index.php?menu=Gallery <- looks really sharp.
http://www.amcharts.com/ <- nice but little link in it (like chartdirector)
http://ajaxian.com/archives/dojo-charti ... e-released
http://www.liquidx.net/plotkit/
http://solutoire.com/plotr/
http://webfx.eae.net/dhtml/chart/demo.html
http://dragan.yourtree.org/blog/en/2007 ... ax-mgraph/ <- looks nice too..
http://www.ridgway.co.za/archive/2007/0 ... ample.aspx
http://www.lutanho.net/diagram/ <- not that great
http://nicholascook.net/demos/graph/
http://dojotoolkit.org/2006/11/08/dojo- ... nd-sitepen <- i think this is nice, but its broken the test page.
http://cssjuice.com/22-code-snippets-fo ... nt-charts/ <- list of charts..

Got any additions? Or other tools that are nice? All these programs are either using php or ajax, or javascript. Meaning that it works on every platform (linux or windows) so any graphics tool that create picture via a dll or "program" that needs to run is not included in this list. (like http://www.dundas.com/index.aspx although kick ass)

No it's not mine, i came accross this site a long time ago when i tried MRTG. And you're right, the MRTG charts are not really eye-catchers.

Still want to grab the traffic pages, thats why i asked. Although i was looking at grabbing pages from some webpage.. but i should be getting a tv card soon which has radio with rds information. Hopefully i can grab the rds + tmc from the pci card and take the messages from the air (which should be more stable then a website)
