What is Bwired? Is it a protocol? Is it a project? Does it uses a specific software? Is it free to download? What are the hardware and software requirements for such of home automation via web?

Bwired is a Geek [:D]
www.bwired.nl is to show to people what all can be done with Home Automation (Domotica). My goal is to write my own Software/Drivers as much as possible. There are now hardware specification I just connect everything what available for me together. One of the big problems in Home Automation is that there is no "Of the shelf system" what can handle al you want.
