Enhancement: "Communication failure" device status

Hi,

Here's an enhancement request. Looking at Oregon temperature devices all have device-status "unknown-17".
I want to use the device status in HST to change the color + text for devices that have a communication failure.

Could the plugin set the device-status of "Communication Failure" devices to "OFF" or "DIM" (for example) ?

I second that. I would like the status to be 2 (on) as long as the heartbeat is received within the required time frame. As soon as the heartbeat is not received and the status string is changed to "Communication failure" I would like the status to change to 17 (unknown). This would help me in the plugin I am developing to drawup charts, because when the status is 2 I known the device value needs to be recorded periodically while when the status is unknown the device value does not have to be recorded.

I want to use the status in HS Touch. If a device has a communication failure I want the text to be less 'intrusive'.
Normal status: text-color: white
Comm failure: text-color: gray
In HST this can only be done based on the device-status or device-value.
The device-value cannot be used as it should keep the 'last known good' value.
