I have a 2008 server with mail server and HS2 on a Intel D945GSEJT.

Work fine.
But it is a small HomeSeer setup, I don't what happens with big setups.

I'm looking after the AD02 version which sadly is delayed until july, featuring esata for additional storage and based on AMD Fusion E350.

Hi Enver, nice to see the new Atoms popping up and with a bit less power consumption with the newer chipsets but I don't think it will make much difference with the older 1.6 dualcore Atoms in terms of speed. The main selling point is Purevideo and Cuda support, something we don't use with Domotica.
Still a nice box that will run Homeseer with a lot of extra stuff. My (modified) EEbox is still doing its job fine too and that is a single core 1.6 if I am not mistaken.

Hi Bastiaan,
The speed difference will indeed minimaal compared to the 1.6Ghz
It's a perfect machine for if you have none.
I'm still running my HS on the Mac Mini (2 years old)
For sure the Mac mini is faster than the Atom D525...As Mac user you know the price...
