A new document has been posted that describes how to connect a KMtronic relay card to the RFXLAN.
And how to connect a key fob (in this example a Visonic) to the relay card.

Hey Bert,
I'm confused. When you mention RFXLAN. Do you mean the new RFXcom tranceiver or the old one (87005)?
In other words: Is the relay board a substitute for RFXIO that I can connect to my 87005?
Second question: Relay board is only for output right?
Thanx for clearing this up.

When we are talking about RFXLAN it is the new LAN interface.
The main difference between the RFXLAN and the previous LAN/WLAN versions:
- RFXLAN does not pulse an output line during power up,
- RFXLAN has configurable pull-ups on input lines,
- Changes on input lines are pushed to the application (polling is not necessary)
- RFXLAN has an RFXCOM LAN interface which makes it possible to flash TCP/IP or xPL firmware.
The previous versions with Lantronix inside can also use the KMtronic relay card.

You can connect a KMTRONIC relay card to the RFXLAN:

Inhouse RF distance depends very much on the type of building material used. For example concrete with an iron network inside will block a lot of RF.
In this document you will find a rough indication of RF reduction:

If possible you can connect a 2nd antenna using a splitter but the results depends very much on the cable length and construction of the splitter. Better is to install a 2nd RFXLAN, you can connect up to 8 receivers in the RFXCOM plug-in.

Question...
I want to route the doorbell signal through my domotica system:
doorbell > kaku doorbell remote > rfxlan > homeseer > rfxlan IO > gong
Can i connect a relay of the KMTronic board directly on my doorbell, instead of the doorbell-button?
