73 euro's.. this could be a nice thing to try out some things with dmx right? Since all the other things are expensive. I rather try and play with some stuff before i buy the more expensive ones.

you would still need to buy a 3 channel 24V PWM DMX dimmer, a 24V power supply and special cables with these 4 pin connectors....

so a EUR 16.50 12V ledstrip for testing is cheaper :

(you would still need to have a 12V power supply and a 3 channel DMX dimmer and of course a DMX controller)

For some odd reason, i think i need to read up more about this stuff.. i should get the lanbox in my postbox about now i think. That will be the dmx controller (Controlling up to 512 DMX channels)

Do i still need the dimmer then? My idea was to just have some dmx devices , give it power and then plug it into my dmx controller.. :-) sometimes i think to easy it seems.

So no dimmer is required for me? If i choose the bar you suggested.

Any way to see in a fast view if a dmx is a "true" dmx?

yes, you still need a dimmer in both cases.

the only difference between the two led bars is that :

yours is more professional, bigger, brighter, has mounting brackets, more expensive etc.

yours is 24V, the other one is 12V
(compare specs : current/voltage/number of leds/length/brightness)

in the description of your led bar is mentioned

"Wordt aangestuurd door LED MANAGER (DMX LED-voeding) "

that is a PWM DMX dimmer....

here's another PWM DMX dimmer (6 channels) :

optional accessories :

for easy mounting :

if you want a lot of leds, be careful about maximum current/voltage for your 12/24V power supply and PWM dimmer hardware...
