Harrison curtains stop working

There are three electric curtain systems in my home and all of them start to degrade.
Working everyday for a few years but closing seems to go slower and slower and two of the three now almost don't close anymore.
Opening seems easier than closing so that still works.

I have checked the tension on the wire and that seems ok, it looks like the resistance on the system became too much for the motor.
DId anybody found the same problems, any solutions or tips what/where to check before I take everything apart?

Could spraying some teflon on your rail help?

I was thinking about it but the teflon will also get on the pulling rope and make it more or less impossible for the motor to drive it.
Might need to take the whole thing apart before I am able to do this seperate.

dont use the teflon, like you say "if it comes on the rope" you have more problems.
I use the Harrison for the longest time of you all, have 6 rails in my house.
I dont have these problems till now. But you having it on three indicates clearly there must be something wrong.
Take the rope of and see what the motor is doing then.

The ones that started first both have heavy curtains on it, so I am assuming the rollersystem might have been worn out.
Anybody an address fo Harrisons for spare parts?
