Hi I bought the doorbell ACDB 6500BC package for using the transmitter in combination with the doorbell switch I have already. Can I use this transmitter and also keep the old doorbell alive? Since I do not want to use the receiver part (bell). So how to connect the transmitter now, since the original bell has an power adapter connected?

I just opened the case and soldered the two wires coming from the old doorbell to the switch on the KaKu transmitter.

Thanks for your reply,

Could work, but where is that switch located? I had a look inside but I really have no idea! And how will this work with the power? Since there is also a battery in the device? Are you sure we are talking about the same device here? If you have a photo than it might be more clear. Thanks

Since I am not an electrician, I am not sure where and how to solder wires on the device. I have doubt if it possible at all since there is also a battery in place?
Now I am still looking for a way to use this ACD6500BC Transmitter http://www.klikaanklikuit.nl/product_detail.asp?id=80 device with the existing situation.
What I want to achieve is:
When outdoor (old bell) switch is pressed ----> the transmitter ---> sends a signal (received with rfxcom transceiver for further use within Domotiga) + old doorbell -----> ring as normal.
I have a adapter and a seperate bell + some kind of extra power device for the old bell.

Bert I have search the forum over and over, for many topics. I saw this one as well, but since I am not an electrician-engineer its not very clear to me how to adapt such a 12v AC relais? (is this just an relais such as you use in combination with an led or so?). So that's why I looking for some hands on help here. :)

Sorry voor de stilte.
Was even op vakantie gegaan.
