Hi,
There is already write a lot about domotica home servers but because the development on the hardware levels never stops.
I want to know the opinion about to use a EEE notepad (laptop) for a domotica server.
I like to hear it.
Regards,

Even though its ok to use it, i would rather say no. There are better sollutions. If you are purely going to use it anyway for domotica, why get a laptop?
I dont know the price range but i am using a asrock 3d now, works fine. I think the 330 from asrock would also be sufficient.

Now i want to going to a Windows 7 OS but i'm a little bit in doubt if this is normal running for HS on a EEE box or must i'm going to a other system with a bigger processor.
And because the laptop's have a quicker processor overhaul in place of the Little mini pc's i comming with this question.
