Hi,

I am trying to interface the infared poort for a Landis & Gyr type ZCF 120 ABd
Anybody got his working ?
I made a disign that works with Realterm but meter is not responding to the /? CR LF request.
The diagram for the interface included

Are you sure, i need to send this "/?!"
its a other brand, but internal most iare the same

Yes i think i have to send /?! cr lf
The datasheet for this type of meter = EN 62056-21 protocol is the same as IEC1107

In the attachment a explanation of the protocol and how it works
You have to send the request and get a reply this will tell you the id for the meter and the baudrate for the datatransmision.
The next thing is to send a ACK with the requested baudrate and you receive all the data from the meter.
