Hi,

I have a little problem that i can not solve, i have here for my home network the next configuration:
starting with a Huewai modem then i have connect a 19" switch 24 ports 10/100mbit and then on 1 port a Asus 5 ports switch also a 10/100mbit.
And the last 5 ports switch gives a lot of trouble, when i have traffic from a normal dekstop pc that is connect to the 5 ports switch i have the problem that he is spontaneously resetting.

I have this problem with al the network devices that i connect to this switch, i have now try to change this switch for a new D-Link switch and this one is compleet dead, i can not even made a network connection with it (the Led's is normal burning).
Now i have not really a network background so i hope that someone can give me a tip.
Grtz,

I've seen this before with cheap soho switches. Could be a dying supply.

Load (network traffic) could increase the power consumption which the supply can't handle anymore.
