Hi there! I'm working on a Homeseer Plugin for the Nemef Radaris Evolution. I have 1 Nemef Radaris Evolution in use for half a year now and it's working great!
The first version of the Plugin will support 1 RF-Module and 4 Controllers (locks). I think that will be enough for most

Here's a list of the features the Plugin will have:

1. Badge Management: Assign names to Badges (to keep record of to whom Badges are handed out to) and registering the Badge type;
2. Unlock the Nemef Radaris Evolution (duh);
3. Control the 4 outputs of the RF Module;
4. Monitoring the 3 inputs on the RF Module;
5. Switch Conditional Access on and off per Controller;
6. Configure the Unlock time of each Controller;
7. Monitor the battery condition of the Controller(s);
8. Monitor the bolt position (In, Out) of the Controller(s);
9. Configure the access granted for each Badge per Controller (inside, outside, none, conditional)
10. Connection to Homeseer either by RS232 or Ethernet;
11. Fully integrated in Homeseer; 'everything' is exposed to Homeseer and can therefore be used in Homeseer events and scripts.

Hi marck,

Can't give you an ETA yet, but...the Radaris has been offline for my own system since , just to test the Plugin. But since the Radaris Evolution is rather low on I/O in real life situations, it can take some time to catch those bugs.

What I can tell you is that there are 3 things I want to finish before summer holidays start, and this Plugin is one of them, so stay tuned.

Getting closer and closer... this Plugin can do more than my own homebrew domotica system, that's something new for a change

I am going to buy a Radis Evolution and my supplier came with the following:
- Nemef meerpuntsluiting 4918, dubbelzijdige controle
- Nemef Radaris Evolution deurgarnituur, DUBBELzijdige controle
- Nemef sluitgarnituur (sluitkommen/platen)
- Nemef Keyfob 3 stuks
- Stand-Alone
Uitbreiding RF-Communicatie;
- Nemef Radaris Evolution RF-Module
- Nemef Radaris Evolution, RS-485 licentie, optioneel t.b.v. RS-485 programmering

I want to use the Homeseer plugin from Robbert.
The RF module has an RS-485 interface.
What do I need to connect this to my computer?
Will above cover everything I need?

You could use a RS485 to Ethernet device. The easiest solution I guess.
Or a RPi with RS485 to USB cable with some DIY tool/script/whatever to let it act as a USB <--> LAN thing and do some other useful things with it

The new nemef RF module has USB, but rs485 is also still available
i would now go for USB..... also no rs485 license cost i think
I now also have a rs485 to USB connector which works perfect, the module get it power of the USB connector

i will mail Nemef with your setup to check (update:done)
