Boiler pressure gauge monitoring

I have Viessmann Vitoplex 300 boiler and i would like to monitor water pressure inside it.
There is already dumb pressure gauge, is it possible to change it with something more smart :) ?

I have also rfxcom transceiver which i use for monitoring different systems using wireless sensors (motion, temperature, humidity).

So maybe it's also possible to use rfxcom somehow for this purpose?

Search for digitale manometer on Google and sure you will find something but likely very expensive.

If you want only a warning if the pressure is too low you may modify the current meter (or get a cheap replacement meter) and put a light sensor on top of it what will "see" the red needle

Henk,
thank you for reply.

As you said i found digital manometer (1-wire/RS485) and it's quite expensive ~200$.

Probably, you are right. for example i can set up cheap camera on front of analog manometer and process images from it to get pressure value.

Depends on how handy you are otherwise you can make one for about 40 euro (all in) since i can think of several solutions right now.
