Plugwise and nonplugwise devices

I was a user of version 2.21 until I had to do a firmware update to the latest firmware (27-06-2011).
at the end of my update the application crashed. I had to reload an old back-up which did work any more.
I send my back-up tot he help desk of plugwise and they gave me access to the 2.22 version, now with 57 days left for testing.
Beside experiencing some network building issues I also saw an item on non-plugwise devices. Does anybody know what that means?
will there be an option to connect other zigbee devices like the greenwave reality productshttp://www.greenwavereality.com/solutions/energymgmt/ ?
any knowledge here?
