What to use for outside lights

A friend of mine asked me the following question.
Please note that the system is only needed for the outside lights.
I would say use Klik aan klik, but he has been using this, and is not happy with it.
His question:
We have 14 outdoor lamps around the house without a switch wire. They are at the moment controlled by click to click (Kilk aan klik uit)
I would like to replace the whole system because:
- Switches break all the time.
- Range is not big enought. Even not with a signal amplifiers.
Often some of the lights are still on in the morning!
I'm looking for a better system with:
- Switches that do not break as easy as the Kilk aan klik uit
- A powerful transmitter that will signal an on at dusk and off at oo.oo hours.
Any info on this would be great!
