Source software as service?

Dear,

Since a few days I am a happy owner of a Plugwise Home Basic Set (thanks to the forum for a 15% discount code :D).

I use the software on my Windows 2k8 server (24/7).

Is it possible to run the Source software as a Windows (background) service? Or can it only run minimized and do I have to create a startup shortcut so that the software will be started automatically when my server boots?

Thanks.

Kevin.

The server app that is installed by default together with source is a good headless candidate for automated start, but isn't a service.

I would love to see it as a Windows service too, but I'm afraid that's not possible. I use auto logon on my Windows 2008R2 server and put the shortcut in the startup folder so it starts automatically when my server boots. Haven't tried tools that sometimes make it possible to run a normal executable a service. For me this workaround is good enough.
