Hi, I'd like to be able to remotely turn on/off my 3KW room heater ; ideally, through my router and mobile phone. Perhaps someone here can recommend a way to do this.

Also, where is the best place to find the parts? 2nd hand is fine. Thanks.

Get a home basic set, and control everything via your iPhone, even when out of your house.

It looks like it'll work but I'm not sure how the Arduino interacts with the router.

This looks like a cheaper option than the Plugwise if I can get it to work. On the other hand the Plugwise looks simple and easy!

Another thing, I'm based in the Uk and so would the Plugwise system work with a UK plug? Can I use an adapter?

Any 2nd hand Plugwise going on the forum?
