analyzer for cul usb stick / mic input

Yesterday i stumbled on to this analyzer tool that could be interesting for protocol analyzing.

It works with a mic port or a cul3 usb stick

No i dont know how to read or to set those values except for band, but maybe some one with more knowledge could explain a bit more or take advantage of this tool.

interesting receiving 433 mhz or ir signals with a microfone. something to try out, promising link. i think you need the cul with 433 mhz.

Well thats my idea ;o)

You still need some small hardware to make it work on the mic port.

Also like the maker his approach, just to do the decoding in the server software instead of in firmware.
I got a cul 868 and it seems to recieve msg from my marmitek pyramid.

As i understood they use the cul to transieve pronto code which is recieved/transmitted by the marmitek pyramid in ir
