How to add TH9 - Viking 02038, 02035 to HomeSeer

Hi,

I'm running HomeSeer with RFXCom plugin.

When running RFXmngr, I get the following:

Code: Select all

0A5209054800003A510339
Packettype    = TEMP_HUM
subtype       = TH9 - Viking 02038, 02035 (02035 has no humidity)
Sequence nbr  = 5
ID            = 18432
Temperature   = 5,8 °C
Humidity      = 81
Status        = Wet
Signal level  = 3
Battery       = OK
However, I'm unable to add this device to HomeSeer. In the logging I frequently find this:

Code: Select all

28/11/2012 19:14:21  - RFXCOM - ERROR : Unknown Sub type for Packet type=52:9
Can somebody help me adding this temperature (and humidity) sensor ?

Thx !

Kristof

Works now, but ...

I have a set of outdoor plugin modules from Elro (link)

These used to work in RFXCom with Flamingo or Impuls. However, after the update this seems to be broken ...

HomeSeer loggin with Impuls:

Code: Select all

5/12/2012 19:19:13  - Device Control - Device:   Kerstverlichting Buiten (C2) OFF
5/12/2012 19:19:13  - RFXCOM - (DeviceCmd) error unknown device: 23
Homeseer logging with Flamingo:

Code: Select all

5/12/2012 19:24:47  - Device Control - Device:   Kerstverlichting Buiten (C2) OFF
5/12/2012 19:24:47  - RFXCOM - (DeviceCmd) error unknown device: 11
Any idea why this is happening ?

Gr,
Kriz

Where can one buy this sensor? And are there more weatherstations supported in the new version of RFXcom?

see chapter 2.2 for the RFXtrx433 supported products http://www.rfxcom.com/Documents/RFXtrx% ... 0Guide.pdf
FineOffset/Viking, TFA, LA Crosse, Rubicson, UPM/ESIC and Oregon Scientific sensors are supported.

UPM/ESIC is not advised because of a bad range.
Preferred sensors are Oregon 2.1 or 3.0 sensors.

For the full list including a suppliers list see http://www.rfxcom.com/oregon.htm

click the UPDATER button on the Homeseer screen.
And select the products to update.

Will do, but isn't this a plugin issue ?
Weren't you the owner of the plugin ?

I updated the plugin yesterday, including an update for Homeseer.
It totally ruined my HS2 installation somehow..., no rfxmeter anymore, no KAKU devices.......

This i made a copy of the Homeseer Pro folder before upgrading the software...., after a restore of the folder all worked...
I don't know if the error was in the Homeseer upgrade, or in de RFXcom upgrade...
