Just starting out with this so please forgive any stupid/previously answered questions!
Looked at the post " ELV MAX! protocol description" and it appears to me I should be able to make a connection to the Cube on port 80 using Telnet?? When I try it disconnects straight away.
I am using the correct IP address and there are no other connections to it - rebooted the Cube to make sure.
Have I misunderstood what to do or is there something else causing this?
Many thanks

Re: Problems with ELV MAX! protocol connection
- ELV Max software still running? Kill it.
- Reboot done by power cycling the Cube? Wait half an hour or so and try again.

Re: Problems with ELV MAX! protocol connection
Thanks but I found, buried in another post, that the port is no longer 80 but 62910 - works a treat now.Digit wrote:- ELV Max software still running? Kill it.

Re: Problems with ELV MAX! protocol connection
It's not using port 80 (any more). It uses port 62910. just type http://ip.adres.goes.here:62910/ and presto, Bob is your uncle!ceemjay wrote:Just starting out with this so please forgive any stupid/previously answered questions!

Re: Problems with ELV MAX! protocol connection
Mine still does, last time I checked
OK, so the port number is now depending on the firmware version you're using.
