Did anyone succeed in sending an email with the Home Control Box with firmware 1.6.0-1026?
It's not clear why my settings don't work. I use my account at Planet Internet.
SMTP server: mail.planet.nl or smtp.kpnmail.nl ?
SMTP poort: 25 or 587 ?
Authenticatie: on or off ?

Nothing works :x

Please help...

I tried this one also. However i'm searching for the right combination of settings: SMT server, SMT poort, Authenticatie etc.

My settings are:

smtp.xs4all.nl
smtp port 25
authenticatie vink on
TLS vink on
Use a valid Email adres to send your test email
Use username of your provider
Use password
Click on test and check the emailadres

It may help to restart the HCB.

good luck Henk

Ok Henk, thanx.
I tried the settings as you suggested. However, no results.
I used these settings:
Smtp server: mail.planet.nl
Smtp poort: 25
Afzender adres: my emailadres
Authenticatie: on
TLS: on
Gebruikersnaam: gebruikersnaam
Wachtwoord: xxxxx

After pressing the button TEST I get the message: Versturen test e-mail niet gelukt: Server niet gevonden
I use Logmein software (remote control) to get connected with the HCB, this works fine.
What am I doing wrong???

Only the top half my switch controls this all, the bottom half of the swith does nothing. By keep pressing the top half of the switch, the light cycles through dim and bright.
