I tried and tried and still have problems connecting my KakU doorbell With Homeseer. If feel kinda stupid since this should be an easy job :)

I add an Output Device for the RFXCom Transceiver in Homeseer. I choose the AC Module, give it a name (Doorbell) and set the location and type number of the unit. Then I see the KakU Doorbell in my status screen in homeseer OFF. I press the learn button on the Kaku unit and the status jumps to on and the Kaku unit confirms that the connection is established.

But then, the status keep's saying on. Also pressing the on or off button doesn't do anything. The kaku unit does not make a sound. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe remove all and try again? Is the gong working without Homeseer?

I've done the same thing.

So made an AC module / Give name and location / Go to status / Put device in learning mode and press on in Homeseer status

Kees

krizz,
you have 2 things: The door bell pushbutton and the door bell itself

The door bell push button can be added in Homeseer as an RFXCOM Input Device.
Tip: create an event on this device that sets the status back to OFF after 2 seconds.

The door bell can be added as AC CHIME on the RFXCOM Output device page. Push the OFF/ON buttons to ring the bell.
