Hi,
I have installed HS2 + RFXCOM plugin/charts + RFXCOM LAN (w/ x10send,x10receive,visonicreceive).

Just now I put the batteries in the following 2 Visonic devices:
-MCT-302T
-MCT-100
When adding security devices to the RFXCOM plugin the following devices popup:
Alert 1-Meterkast Alarm MCT302 Door-3 ]8 DS10/90/SD90/MCT302 Security Sensor Today 10:01:12 PM
Alert 1-Meterkast Alarm MCT302 Door-2 ]7 DS10/90/SD90/MCT302 Security Sensor Today 10:03:15 PM
Normal 1-Meterkast Alarm MCT302 Door ]6 DS10/90/SD90/MCT302 Security Sensor Today 10:02:07 PM
CommFailure 2-Office Sensor MCT100 2? ]5 DS10/90/SD90/MCT302 Security Sensor 3/1/2008 9:07:47 PM
Alert 2-Office Sensor MCT100 ]4 DS10/90/SD90/MCT302 Security Sensor Today 11:09:06 AM

So for 1 MCT-302T I get 3 and for 1 MCT-100 2 devices.

Q:What are the 'extra' devices for?
(battery, tampering and normal-value is what I can think of)

Q: Can I use the HS device configuration to enter the location2 setting? (RFXCOM docs say you can't use the HS2 config - but this is just a location2 update).

Q: If you remove one of these 'extra' devices using RFXCOM plugin, how can you add it again?

Thanks!
DJ

I don't know why you get additional sensors.
Use RFreceiver and trigger the sensor. You will see the sensor code then. If a door sensor has the secondary contact enabled (config switch inside the sensor) you will get 2 sensors.

Try to config the sensor in the HS status screen. I don't know if some fields are destroyed that are in use by the plug-in!

If a device is deleted you have to trigger a sensor or wait for an input sensor unitil it has transmitted a signal. At that time the sensor is in the list and can be added.
