Frustrating "Too Similar Subject" function is on again

I was trying to enter a new message in the sales forum, however I had to try several subjects before I could save it. The trick was to use a useless (incorrect) subject, save it and change it. Would be nice if this function could be adjusted, especially in the for sale forum.
Also in my opinion this function only encourages old thread hijacking which only creates unclear storyboards (i.e. 2 or more different problems are handled and solved in a single thread, and thus with searching you are likely to not see the other problems and solutions in that same thread because you only look at the first page.
Wanted subject: "RFXCOM USB Set (315Mhz) + div. sensoren"
2nd try: "TKA: R-F-X-C-O-M Set (315Mhz) + div. sensoren"
3rd try: "TKA: R-F-X-C-O-M Set (315Mhz)"
4th try: "TKA: blablabla" > then change back to original wanted subject by editing the post.
