that is indeed true...you can only back once. This is to give others also the opertunity to be a backer. But it is noted and will be changed manually (but not noticable in the backing option, it wil be done afterwards)

Ditching a (calibrated) hall effect current sensor for a resistor has some drawbacks (voltage drop, IIR losses, temperature stability and nonisolated measurements come to mind).Recently, we've custom built an analogue electronic board that uses standard resistors, capacitors, inductors etc to calculate ampage, thus removing the need for an additional current sensor

The problem with this is statement is that John is not a technical guy. He does not even understandwhat he is writing. As i know is that the current sensor icw code it can calculate rms voltage. I myself have solar panels and was also my demand. In about 1-2 weeks i will recieve the new design chip that i will connect it myself to test it....incl the accuracy.

I made a pledge for 5 plugs. I wanted something like plugwise, but didn't like their business case and their attitude towards OS other then Windows. I waited for ages for Qees, but that firm isn't delivering its prophecy. I hope this kickstarter project is successful. It sounds very promising.

I had a 'quite' weekend....NOT.
as it looks now the project will be funded....I am now busy with certification crap....dawm is that complicated.....i mean companies MAKE it complicated and major costly.
will keep you posted, but i am very pleased with the outcome.
Had many inquiries for smart LED's. We are now talking with a filmstudio that wants/needs smart LED studio lights.
and also busy with a RGB version. A Chinees company wanted the RGB version so bad that they are already making an API for it...hahahaha the most perfect solution as intended with an open API.

There are already ton’s of smart LED (studio) lights……. Mainly made in China and copied from….

yes, but the term smart led has it own life. Everyone has its own protocol and way of controlling. most of them use Bluetooth, ad-hoc wifi or zigbee technology.

Bringing a current signal to the MCU is useful of course if you want to switch both capacitive and inductive loads reliably, you can switch the relay on on zero voltage and off on zero current, with the mechanical delay of the relay taken into account of course.

and it is funded.......within 6 days. I hope that it keeps climbing so that the next item (RGB led) can be developed straight after the sale launch.
