RFXCom Integration with Wattson Power Meter

Hi there
Wondering if anyone has tried integrating rfxcom with the Wattson powermeter from DIYKoyoto. I have the wattson and I know the transmitter operates on 433mhz. would be good if I could capture the transmission with RFXCOm and integrate it with a home automation solution (looking at MicasaVerde Veralite).
Hoping someone has tried it.
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy,
I've never tried it using the RFXcom, it doesn't show up when I do a scan of available appliances, so I guess the protocol is not implemented in RFXcom. Instead I then used the
openwattson package for Linux to retrieve the power consumption every 12 seconds and put it in a log file. From there it gets parsed into a mysql database.
I still use it for reference, but have since then moved on to hooking up my smart meter to Domotiga.
Would be great if someone could figure out the protocol. Not only to retrieve the power consumption, but even beter, to send data to the display from other devices.

I have the same Wattson power meter and it would be good if we could get this hooked up.
I have the RFXCom RFXTRX433 controlled by Domoticz.
