I'm using at this point a RFXCOM receiver together with the ARCF-plugin.

What's the differince between ACRF, ACRF2 and RFXCOM ?

Why should I update to ACRF2 ?

What's the use of RFXCOM instead of ACRF.

What do you guys advice.

Thanks

Wil

Here is some more information on this subject: http://board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=126792
The main reason to develop the RFXCOM plug-in was to have a plug-in available for the transmitter (HomeEasy and KlikAan with dim levels) and to have new receiver functionalities immediatly available in Homeseer.

So the best thing for me would be to upgrade to ACRF 2 ?
because I do not have installed any transmitter.

Do I have to un-install ACRF before upgrading ?

Wil,

If you never will use the new KlikAan-KlikUit RF modules with dim level setting and don't want to use the integrated functions for charts of the RFXCOM plug-in best (cheapest) is to upgrade to the ACRF2.

Disable the ACRF and install and activate the ACRF2 is all you have to do.

Bert,

The charts part is something I want. So best for me to switch to RFXCOM then.
My final question....
Is RFXCOM running together with ACRF or instead of ?

All plug-ins can run at the same time. However, only one plug-in can have access to a receiver. In other words, it is not possible to have several plug-ins accessing the same receiver at the same time.

Concerning the charts: I have offered the author of the ACRF2 plug-in to use the older version of the RFXCOM charts (for free). To check the availability and functionalities of the charts in the ACRF2 you have to ask this in the HS forum.
