Looking for a battery operated 2channel z-wave device

Hi,
I would like to monitor my door status like open/closed and locked/unlocked. Most window/door sensors only check open/ closed. Fibaro door/window sensor has à second input (I can add a sensor to my lock to detect status) but apperantly this is not independent of open/close sensor. I could use two separate sensors but that Will make it more expensive.
Is there a battery operated 2channel z-wave device?
Or can I use a zwave remote ( from aeon labs or zwave.me) and solder some sensors to the keys? Someone tried this? What would be the challenges and drawbacks?

You might be in luck with

This has an external switch connection according to the manual

It's not 100% clear from the manual, but the normal reed switch sends "Basic Set" messages on / off and the internal tamper switch sends "Alarm" messages. It then goes on to say that an external switch connected to the external switch connection will also send "Alarm" messages, so I suspect that the external switch connection may be an extension of the tamper switch.
It's a fairly cheap device though, so probably worth taking a chance?

I think you can use the extra input on the Fibaro Door Sensor. I read this in the manual:
The Fibaro Door/Window Sensor has a one,
potential-free IN input. IN input status may be
modified through the Sensor itself or by sending
GND signal to IN (diagram 3).

Hi thanks for your response.
I think with the fibaro one you are not able to distinguis between the external sensor triggerd or magnet sensor triggerd, anybody experience with this?
Looks like this is possible with the vision one, Will buy one and try it.
Anyone used a modified remote?

Hi I found the iHone doorsensor. It also has a connection for an external dry contact.

Also contains a temperature sensor..
Never used this product myself!

I use the iHome doorsensor (which was 20 euros instead of 40 a while ago

) for all my windows/doors. Works perfectly. The temperature needs to be adjusted by configuring an offset.
I also use the external dry contact for my doorbell. The other situation I use it for is for the frontdoor open/close AND the mailbox shutter. But... I use this sensor in combination with a home made z-wave driver and was able to integrate the sensor and the different reporting of the external dry contact (Alarm type).

Hi,
Your correct the fibaro can only use for 1 contact or the magnet or external

Also a fibaro Universal Sensor FGBS321 could be used to do what you want.

Although it looks nice mine is not sending open/close when using HS2 (i have to poll) and acts like one sensor when using HS3. There are HS3 users which have more succes.
Note: This device needs an active power source

Don't know for sure, but can't this be set with its parameters.
To power the device you could use a battery box containing a couple of AA battery's
