Hello my name is Arne and Im new with domotica and security and I need some advise.

I am building a new house and want to install domotica and devices for security. [:)]
I read a lot the last 2 months about this stuff and think to know what to buy.
Can anyone help me with my choices and give some advise. My questions are:
- Do I make the right choice.
- Are there better devices.
- Are there cheaper devices with the same functions.
- Where can I buy that stuff with the lowest price.
- I need an Gui based application to support the devises. (I cant program). What is the best choice.
- What is a better choice, the CM15Pro or the Xanura PMIX35 to control the X10 devices.
- Is the right location of the devices?

I am thinking about:
- Powermax plus starterskit
- Powerlink voor Powermax +
- XM10x - 2weg Universele PLC Interface (TTL/CMOS I/O)
- Next PIR MCW wireless bewegingsmelder
- Next K9-85 MCW - Diervriendelijke (<36kg) draadloze bewegingsmelder
- MCT-302T - Draadloze deur / raam contact
- CM15Pro Programmable Computer Interface incl. ActiveHomePro OR Xanura PMIX35.

Who can help me [:(]

Hi Arne,

Your choice is a rather good starters choice!
The Visonic Alarm is a very good choice for security and can be extended with the product of www.rfxcom.com
The choice for an X10 controller depends, The CM15PRO is a new product and at this moment there is little info about compatibility with software like Homeseer etc, but I guess it will work!. The PMIX35 is a new product from Xanura with very good quality, you can even test your powerline with it. Then there is the CTX35 controller from Xanura which is compatible with Homeseer. And if you are really serious about Domotica you should buy Homeseer.
Also think about the light actors you want to use.
Regards Pieter

For an alarm system the ProGuard800 will also be a good choice:

Thanks for the advice.
Is the Marmitek burglar alarm better than the Powermax Plus?

I would not go for the Marmitek alarm, Visonic is professional alarm with much better specifications and easy to combine with the Rfxcom devices.
@wima: I love it as well, but it's probably a scan from the brochure! [:)]

VisonicPro kost 400 euro
Over de kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid is nog niet zo veel bekend.
Voor duidelijkheid Visonic kan ook x10 aansturen.
