Am I being too ambitious.
I'm trying to use the Visonic PIR sensors I have in every room to work out my pattern of usage of the house and then use that data to selectively heat the house. I have a Hometronic system which gives me control of every radiator. Has anyone figured out a way to control the radiator controls, I know people have managed to read them.
First stop, I need to get rid of the Powerlink 2 to get some RS232 data into my system, so that I can start get the PIR trigger data, unless there is a way to get this data out of the Powerlink2. Anyone?

Please search.
You can get data from rs232. Look in the visonic part of this forum. The largest threat there will help you definately.
The visonic PIRs have one disadvantage. Every once in a while they stop responding every 15 minutesm so you'll have to work around that.
